FAQ
Are cels in the gallery for sale? Any cels I have for sale can be found in the Rubberslug shop. No cel that I have described as a gift will ever be for sale. I'm not going to use something someone put thought into and bought for me as a way to make money.
What's with these "fanfiction" cels? Not unlike many otaku, I enjoy writing fanfiction. Fanfiction cels are cels that either I (or another fancel artist) have made to illustrate a particular scene from my fanfic.
And where are these supposed fanfics? Either on my website or on Fanfiction.net. I always put the link to the story with the fan cel, in case someone is confused about where the scene came from. If there's no link, that means I haven't started posting the story yet.
Who made that fan cel? Some of the fan cels I made myself, but if you mean the nice-looking ones, they're all different commissions I have asked for. All these artists can be found in my links section along with which cel they made.
What's your favorite series? Tie between Fushigi Yuugi and Sailor Moon. My favorite characters are Yui and Haruka. (Is it just me or do they look like long lost sisters or something?) I got into anime by watching Pokémon, specifically the Sabrina episodes. (After them, all the others kinda paled in comparison.)
I hate fan cels! They aren't real cels! Boo to you! Fan cels are not only much less expensive than real cels, but they're made especially for you by the artist. I absolutely love seeing a scene I envisioned come to life by these talented people. Although I'm not a huge collector of fan cels taken from a screen cap, I'm firm believer that there's nothing wrong with it, provided the artist signs it to indicate it's fan-made and the owner makes no attempt to claim it as the real thing.
